Read this if

You can follow short English sentences and you want to finish a real story rather than a chapter of a textbook. You'd rather learn a question by needing the answer than by copying a table.

Skip it if

You're preparing for an exam or looking for a full English course. This is a first-contact adventure with five useful questions in it — nothing more, and it doesn't pretend otherwise.

Teaching with it

The chapters are short enough to read aloud in class and the practice is separable, so you can use the story alone, the exercises alone, or both. Further teaching resources may be added in the future.

You do not need perfect English to make a friend.
